To expand our Global Art initiative with a UK children's art campaign aimed at UK schools, teaching about climate change & habitat loss.
When we started Sketch For Survival 4 years ago we asked artists to donate a 26 minute sketch of an endangered animal that we could sell to fund front line conservation projects that fight species extinction, habitat loss and try to educate about and mitigate climate change.
This year we received over 1,000 artworks from 47 countries and are supporting 21
projects on all seven continents. Professional artists, cartoonists, illustrators and celebrities donate to us and we are so grateful for their support. The elephant below, for example, is by Axel Scheffler, illustrator of "The Gruffalo".

We were one of 15 organisations selected from over 7,000 applications to display at COP26 in Glasgow.
Every year some of the most thought-provoking pieces are by children.
The Aviva Community Fund would help to develop a stand-alone Junior campaign so the charity can reach more young people by:
If the crowdfunding exceeds expectations the charity will also be able to:
Art is fantastic for health and well-being as well as being an effective way to engage and educate children about challenging global issues. The Aviva Community Fund would help to develop this programme, enabling more children to participate and understand why looking after biodiversity is so important.
We've very grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Aviva Community Fund and hope that in partnership with them we can highlight issues like climate change to the next generation, in a way they can relate to and connect with. After all, theirs is the future we are fighting for.

Sketch For Survival is run by Explorers Against Extinction, a UK registered charity (No.1177505) based in Norfolk.
The scale of the challenges facing the planet at this current time are daunting, but it’s not too late to take action and make a difference. In this fight, the younger generation is a crucial and strong force for driving change.
We support immediate need front line projects which focus on protecting threatened species and their habitats as well as helping to empower local communities.
Our Mission statement:
Through our ‘Partnerships to Protect the Wild’ we have successfully helped to safeguard a wide range of endangered species and at risk wild spaces in more than 25 different countries including the UK.
Our Patrons include: Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Colonel John Blashford-Snell, Levison Wood, Benedict Allen and Pip Stewart.
