Aim
To be able to limit the cost for parents to encourage them to send their children to our netball club. For fitness and social benefit
Who are we?
We are a newly opened club with now established adult sessions. We now want to open up to children via Bee Netball and Juniors. We need to pay for Courts, coaches and England Netball memberships for our kids but want to keep prices low to encourage and allow families that are struggling (especially in this climate) to send their kids to our club. We all know money is going to get tighter as the winter comes in and we want to make sure the kids can still participate in a sporting social activity without adding more financial pressure to parents. Netball is a great sport for fitness, social skills and confidence building and we want to make it accessible for all. The Bee netball is administered by England Netball and encourages the children to be 'Netball active' at home as well as when they join the weekly session by offering a welcome pack that includes a ball, T-Shirt and activity book. There is also free resources on line including Bee colouring, Bee Tea parties and Bee pebble painting .

Community impact
We believe sport should be available for everyone and especially accessible to children. In the world of computers and social media it is great to get them involved in something physical. Building a friendship group outside of school can also be extremely beneficial for children allowing them to have some support if things at school become difficult. The local senior school are very supportive of our club and we are working with them and all the schools to get kids involved in our netball club. We also have local companies involved sponsoring and promoting the club locally.

Why are we crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding to support the costings to run the younger junior side of Netball, Bee Netball for 7-10 year olds. Crowdfunding means people can give a little but collectively make a big difference. Everyone is feeling the pinch in pockets and purses and we don't want kids missing out or parents being under pressure to find money to send them to a club like ours. By helping fund we can afford to join the England Netball scheme which provides the kids with the welcome pack mentioned above (ball, T-shirt etc.) it will provide them with England membership which includes very important insurance. For the club we get the resources we need to start up - balls, bibs, training aids, stickers and training for our coach.

How we’ll spend the money raised
The money will go to joining the England netball scheme for 14 children at a cost of £58 per child
If we get more this will go towards coaching fees and putting volunteers through safeguarding and DBS so we can accept more children onto the session and maybe even split into two sessions and open up to younger children of 6( 6-8's and 8-10's)
