🌟 Julie’s Big Leap for a New Boat! 🌟
Yes, you read that right — Julie, our fearless member of the Unit Management Team at Newark Sea Cadets, is strapping on a parachute and jumping out of a plane… all to raise money for a new Trinity 500 rowing boat for our cadets!
At just over 60 years young, Julie is proving that you’re never too old to be a little bit bonkers for a brilliant cause.
Why a rowing boat? Because the Trinity 500 is the backbone of our rowing programme — and with a new one, we can deliver up to 819 further nationally recognised qualifications for local young people! That’s 819 chances for cadets to build confidence, develop teamwork, and gain skills that’ll last a lifetime.
Newark Sea Cadets provides life-changing opportunities through adventure, discipline, and learning — and Julie’s sky-high stunt is helping make that possible for even more young people in our community.
Whether you donate a little or a lot, you’re part of this amazing journey — and giving Julie the push (not literally!) she needs to take the plunge.
Let’s help her fly — and help our cadets row.
