The carnival is made possible through a year round effort to raise the money, organise the parade and book all the bands, stages and tents. This effort comes from people who live in Whitley Bay. This is a community event for and by the community.
We spend months before carnival working with local schools and community groups creating all the amazing costumes you see in the parade.
We want the carnival to always be free to take part in and attend so we need everyone's help especially with getting the money together to make it happen. Drop us the price of a coffee or a pint or two. All the money you send will go towards this years event.
