John o' Groats - Lands End, Non stop, no motorways

We are hoping to raise £1500 (or more of course!) for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.

In May, Michael, Matt, Other Matt and James are going to be riding their motorcycles from John o' Groats to Lands End. And because that isn't enough of a challenge, they are going to do this non-stop without using motorways.

So what exactly are they doing?

Well, first of all, they need to ride from Worthing to John o' Groats. So that's about 750 miles just to get to the start line! They will then set off at the crack of dawn to ride all the way to Lands End. With the exception of fuel stops, the guys are going to do this NON STOP! And they have made the decision to do the entire ride without using motorways.

This isn't the first time they've done something like this, those of you that know them may remember the "Iron Butt" challenge they completed in 2022.

 What could possibly motivate anyone to embark on such an insane adventure? The answer is two-fold. First off, there’s nothing more these guys love more than a challenge, and should you ask them “why?” the response is simply, “why not?!”

 The second reason is a bit more serious, as by undertaking this epic endurance ride, the guys are hoping to raise some money for Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex.

 I'm sure every single one of you will know precisely who the Air Ambulance are, but did you know that they are entirely charity funded? Their annual running cost is a whopping 16.6 million pounds and none of that comes from the government.
