Additional support for the West Highland Way Trail
Our friend John Kynaston passed away in January 2021. We are aiming to fund the replacement of a bridge on the West Highland Way trail.
Our friend and West Highland Way Race committee member John Kynaston passed away in January 2021. John was dearly loved throughout the Scottish and UK ultra running community, and the West Highland Way Race would like to remember John by funding the replacement of a bridge on the West Highland Way trail in his memory. The bridge will be a replacement for the original bridge about 2 miles north of Beinglas Farm, near Derrydarroch, which was washed away in a severe storm in 2020.
The project is supported by John's wife Katrina, and his four daughters Jo, Emma, Laura and Hollie. Our target is to raise £15,000.
