Joe's running 10km for UNICEF with a sore bottom. Please sponsor him so he's too scared to stop running.
11 years ago when I was 19 and so was my BMI, I ran the London Marathon. It was the hardest physical challenge I've ever faced but I did it and I've dined out on it ever since. Unfortunately it wasn't the only thing I've dined on since although now I am 30 but my BMI is only 25 so I think I'm in credit.

Me contemplating giving up beer. I haven't, but I did contemplate it.
Now is the time for the comeback. On June 27th I am running 10km, 10,000 metres or 10,000,000mm around Wimbledon in aid of UNICEF with my sister Helen and her boyfriend Pip. It will be the first time Pip has met me. Will he be too intimidated by my physical prowess to make it to the start line? Subplot!

Look new trainers! Cower before me.
In the last year I have suffered with a mysterious ailment of the bottom/belly that has made most things but especially exercise quite painful. Even with the powerful painkillers I'm on, this is going to hurt. Sometimes a lot. This morning I was sick in a bush. A child saw. Even if you don't donate for me, donate for that child.
On the subject of donations I'm raising money for UNICEF Vaccinaid because I'm lucky enough to have already been double dosed. Through sheer blind luck I was born in the UK and this meant I could be vaccinated extremely quickly but unfortunately this hasn't been the case all over the world. This delay in people in other countries receiving their vaccine can and will cost lives. These people aren't any more or less special than me. In fact their bottoms almost certainly work better than mine. They all deserve the same protection as you and I and especially my 89 year old Grandma who was vaccinated early because she nagged her doctors so much they gave it to her to shut her up. I usually wouldn't approve of such behaviour but it's Grandma and she can do whatever she likes.
So if you've made it this far, thank you. Please donate. It will make me keep going when I want to lie on the ground and cry. If you can't donate then please share and encourage others to donate. I don't care whose money it is as long as I get as much of it as possible. Similar to my policy with beer. Did I mention I've also got asthma?
