Labour's vote share in Chalkwell has been increasing year on year. I am keen to push even further and represent Chalkwell in Council!
It is an absolute privilege to be chosen to represent Labour in the 2022 Southend Borough Council elections!
Chalkwell is an area incredibly close to my heart. As a child my family would always take me here on day trips, and as an adult I've never lived anymore than a stones throw away from the ward!
Labour has been making huge gains in the area, and over the past few years, each candidate has significantly increased Labour's vote share with each election. I am confident that with more hard work and the right push, we can win one more seat in the council chamber!
I am keen to push for more investment in public serves and stronger employment, to ease antisocial behaviour in the ward. I will also emphasise the importance of infrastructure and housing, to fix pot holes and parking issues, as well as protect the rights of home owners and ensure those less fortunate never have to go without shelter or sleep rough!
Since becoming a Labour-led council, Southend has pushed countless policies to improve the wellbeing of its residents. I am keen to be part of that push, and I'm keen to be your councillor!

I'm looking forward to seeing you on the campaign trail!
Please note: Chalkwell Candidate’s team may contact you using the information you supply in order to discharge their legal responsibilities to ensure donations are from permissible sources. Donations to meet the costs of candidate election expenses are regulated by the Representation of the People Act 1983. By making a donation to this campaign I understand and accept the following: If I am making a donation of more than £50, checks will be made to ensure my name is included on a UK electoral register (excluding the Isle of Man and Channel Islands which are not permissible sources). My name and the amount I have donated will be included in the candidate return submitted after the election. This information will be available for public inspection on request, although my home address will not be made public. The money I use to make a donation is from my own funds. This donation facility is provided for individuals to make donations to the Chalkwell Candidate’s campaign. UK companies, limited liability partnerships, trade unions and unincorporated associations may also make donations. Please contact the team on [email protected] for more information.
