 New stretch target

More donations means we can create and deliver more leaflets promoting Green policies across Birkenhead, and boost more videos on social media.

Hiya, I’m Jo Bird.

I’m the Green candidate for Birkenhead MP at the next General Election.

In Birkenhead, over 9,000 people voted Green in last local elections. That’s more than voted Labour. People tell us they like what Greens do, the work we do all year round, on the issues that matter to them.

Meanwhile, our precious planet is burning. All that Labour and Conservatives offer is more business as usual. We need change.

  •  Greens believe that Birkenhead deserves better.
  •  Better businesses and jobs that put people and planet first.
  • Better buses, better trains, energy and water - all back in public hands.
  • Our NHS restored.
  • Clean air to breathe.
  • We need more affordable warm homes for people to live in -  funded by taxing the wealth of the super-rich.
  • Birkenhead deserves a better Member of Parliament.

We’re raising money to promote practical Green solutions. If you can afford it, please give what you can. Thank you very much.

Your money will help to pay for the Green Party’s leaflets and videos to elect Jo Bird as Birkenhead MP at the next General Election. If you’d like to make a donation of more than £500, please contact our Treasurer off-line.

(Since this Crowdfunder has been set up to raise funds for a political party:

We're required to run permissibility checks on donations over £500. These will be completed as pledges are made. For the same reason, we cannot accept anonymous donations over £500.

If you make multiple donations to us, they may be aggregated for our reporting purposes. Your details will appear in our election returns if valued over £500, and if you donate over £1,500 your identity will appear on the Electoral Commission website.

It is an offence to attempt to evade donation rules)
