Jo D'arc desperately needs a operation that is going to cost £10,000

Jo D'arc, our beautiful friend, has been suffering for many years from issues with her back. Some of you may know this already, but a lot may not, as she is a trooper, who battles on without much room for complaining. 

She was admitted to hospital last week due to a slipped disc that is pressing on a nerve and causing excruciating pain and has quite frankly immobilised her, she was discharged the next day, after being told she needs an operation but the NHS waiting list is around 2 years long. 

Jo has a huge presence within Glasgow music scene, regularly performing solo, DJ-ing, one part of the duo The Twistettes and bass player for the Girobabies, not to mention her most recent venture with Minerva Wakes. Jo's back is now so bad, she is having to step away from all of this, and her ability to work has been removed too, she is unable to walk very far at all and requires crutches to aid her when she does. She is also on a seriously high doses of a concoction of quite hard core pain meds, and this is just to allow her to function. 

None of us want this pain and suffering for Jo, so Im looking to crowd fund as much as possible to help pay for Jo to receive this potentially life changing operation privately. The cost of the operation is 10k, but if anyone has anything spare they can contribute to help this legend of a woman out, it will be hugely appreciated. It's my hope that together we can get the Jo we all love back on the dance floor, on the stage and back on her yoga mat!
