Raise the money for Jimmy's second operation to help him walk without crutches again.
Jimmy is 14, lives in a remote village in Northern Uganda and is an avid boardgamer. He's very sharp and learns games very quickly and also loves to teach others in his village area how to play.

A couple of years ago when Jimmy was twelve Jimmy started to develop a swelling on his leg. No one knows how it started and after a time it became a nasty wound. on his upper leg. No antiobiotic treatment seemed to be effective, as the infection had spread to the femur and then later the kneecap.

Chrysalis took him for an operation in Kamala and the famouse CorsU bone hospital, which provides the best treatment in the region, yet they discount their costs for children and teenagers. Jimmy had his first operation, which was successful, though the hospital advised that he would need to return in a few months, to remove the metal pins and have a second operation.
A few days ago, Jimmy met the consultant at CorsU, who advised that the bone had not grown sufficiently and the infection had impacted on the kneecap, stating that the remaining work needed to be divided into two further operations.
1.7m UGX (£370) remained from the first operation, but this second operation is going to cost 5.1m UGX (£1100) leaving a balance of £730 to pay. We need to also raise for Jimmy and his mother's transport and food while at the hospital and in recovery. Food for one month is likely to be 400,000 UGX and transport a further 500,000 UGX to an dfrom the hospital, totalling 900,000 UGX (£200).
So, we are looking to raise £930 for this second phase. The third and final operation will be decided upon after this second one.
