To be able to have BDS surgery after my health had deteriorated over the past two year

The Jim report

I've now had parkinson's for 11 years. Five year ago I was told of the opportunity to have DBS ( deep brain stimulation) i was told this would be approximately four months of testing, followed by it another year.Waiting for the operation. I passed on my tests.But after several cancellations and delays I am still waiting. In the last two years my condition has deteriorated considerably, and I now struggle to work and i've had to move back home  trwith my mum as I cannot manage basic daily tasks and struggle with simple things. I have looked into going private to the operation. But the cost is just short of 50000 pounds. Luckily I have many great friends and family and wonderful employers who have all volunteered to fundraise for me in an attempt to have the operation.done. a medical fundraising page is being set up and will be operational shortly. If anyone has any ideas  i would like to fundraise or donate. I would be extremely grateful. I have been donated a few pieces of artwork and if anyone has anything else they would like to donate. I am looking at doing an auction as well. If more than is needed is raised or I get the operation earlier than expected all monies raised will be donated to parkinson's UK.
