Recording My First Album!

Hello everyone!

It's been a lifelong dream of mine to record an album, so I thought I'd (hesitantly) reach out to my listeners and ask for your support. I want to do this completely independently, so all the creative decisions are my own. Obviously, the cost of recording, mixing, mastering, production, promotion, etc., is not cheap these days. My aim is to include a mix of songs on the album - some fully produced with a full band and synths and stuff but also some solo acoustic stuff that is more true to my live sound that many of you would have heard during a live show.

I have a whole load of songs ready to go, so rather than spending the coming months/years saving for recording finances, I thought I'd ask my supporters to either buy the album upfront (almost like an advance!) or buy/contribute in other ways.

I've been busy applying for funding elsewhere (Help for Musicians/PRS Musicians' Fund, etc.), so hopefully, if I'm successful with one of these grants, that will speed up the process even more. Either way, the cost of making an album will be several thousand pounds. Any support you can provide would be very gratefully received!
