Aim

Completing a marathon in a wheelchair to raise funds for people with disabilities to access life-changing physical activity projects

I’m taking on the challenge of completing a full marathon distance in a wheelchair, not just as a personal test, but to make a real difference. Through my work with a Community Interest Company, I see first-hand the barriers people with disabilities and long-term health conditions face when trying to access physical activity. Too often, opportunities are limited, environments aren’t inclusive, and people are left behind.

This challenge is about changing that. Every push of the wheel represents someone who deserves the chance to move, improve their health, and feel part of a community. The funds raised will go directly towards creating accessible sessions, specialist equipment, and inclusive programmes that empower people of all abilities to be active.

Physical activity isn’t just about fitness, it’s about confidence, independence, mental wellbeing, and connection. By supporting this fundraiser, you’re helping break down barriers and build opportunities for people who need them most.

I’m pushing through the miles so others can push past their limits too.
