Aim
Your Harrogate are teaming up with Harrogate Theatre to organise a Jail or Bail event!
A brave group of community leaders and well-known figures will be spending time behind bars (for entirely fictitious crimes!) to help raise funds for Harrogate Theatre on Monday 23rd February.
The prisoners' only hope of freedom lies in raising £500 in bail money each with the help of their connections, friends, family and - most importantly - the public!
Harrogate Theatre has been at the heart of the town since 1900. For over a century, the stage has brought people together, inspiring creativity, laughter and shared experiences. As a registered charity, that legacy now depends on the support of partners and audiences who believe in the power of the arts to enrich communities.
When a ticket is sold, only 20% of its value comes back to the theatre. While box office income is essential, it isn’t enough to sustain the full range of work it delivers, from ambitious productions and festivals to vital programmes with young people and the community, alongside rising operating costs and limited to no funding.
Every pound of support helps safeguard the future of Harrogate Theatre, keeping its doors open, stages vibrant and work accessible.
