Aim
Support Future Yard and you could win a leather jacket previously worn by Jack White in a music video for The Dead Weather.
The Prize
This is your chance to win the leather jacket worn by rock legend Jack White in the music video for The Dead Weather's 2009 single Treat Me Like Your Mother. The one riddled with bullet holes after an epic gun battle with fellow Dead Weather bandmate, Alison Mosshart.
This is your chance to win a one-off, unique piece of clothing that has its place in rock music folklore. The music video, directed by Jonathan Glazer, sees White and Mosshart in a shootout with machine guns, both ending up with their jackets peppered with bullet holes - and sunlight mysteriously shining through as they walk away.
The jacket from this video shoot has been donated to Future Yard by our Board member Mike Smith, who was Head of Columbia Records at the time and signed The Dead Weather. This piece of history is perfect for any Jack White fan out there!
The Cause
This Prize Draw is being run to help Birkenhead music venue Future Yard's Build Our Future campaign
Future Yard is Birkenhead’s community music venue and home for live music, creative community and skills development. Since opening just prior to COVID in 2020, we’ve built something special: a place where audiences gather, artists thrive and local young people discover their potential through music. We believe that music can change the world; but we know we can do so much more.
Build Our Future is our step into a new chapter. With your support, we will transform Future Yard into a 600-capacity live venue and expanded creative hub, complete with 12 state-of-the-art studios, dedicated learning spaces and a vibrant home for artists and residents alike.
Our aim is to raise £150,000 to complete this ambitious project - and we're already well over halfway there! Every entry on this prize draw goes towards us reaching this target and changing people's lives.

How to Enter
Each £10 donation equals one entry to the prize draw - or you can donate £20 for three entries! You can enter as many times as you like before the deadline of 14th April, at 10pm
Entries can also be made by post, free of charge. To enter, send a letter or postcard to Future Yard CIC, 75 Argyle Street, Birkenhead, CH41 6AB. Each letter or postcard counts as one entry. Please make sure to include the title 'Enter Jack White Lather Jacket Prize Draw', your name and a contact email or phone number. Entries must be received at the address above no later than 15th April 2026.
Entrants must be aged 18 and over, UK residents only.
Winners will be selected at random and notified by email, no later than 30th April 2026. The jacket will be posted to the winner in the mail once the prize draw is closed and winners address obtained.
