We are a sanctuary that offers loving, forever homes to donkeys who have been abandoned and need to find a warm and safe home to live in.
The donkeys we rescue play a leading role in the community work that the sanctuary undertakes, and they will often be seen at care homes across the island. We work with many local community groups as varied as, Veteran Outreach Support, Women’s Refuge, Youth Offenders, and other charities that help people and children. We invite our community groups to come and enjoy our calm, safe and warm sanctuary where they can interact with our donkeys and enjoy the warmth and ambience of Grazers café.
We are hoping to raise money to help keep the café open over the winter months so that we can offer a warm space to our community.
