We are aiming to raise the last bit of money to get It's Not Rocket Science to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival!

We are Letter for Letter Theatre and we are taking our show, It's Not Rocket Science, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on 15-27 August this year. It's Not Rocket Science is about women in the engineering industry and the battles with sexism they still have to face in this male-dominated field. It is thought-provoking, bias-challenging, and dare we say it, fun!
The piece was created from interviews we conducted last year with over 20 female aerospace professionals about their experiences in the industry. We have combined all of their stories to create the life of Eve, the main character of It's Not Rocket Science. In the play, you can see these real women's experiences dramatised as you watch Eve grow up and grow wiser about how Rocket Science is the easy part, but being treated equally isn't.
We are on our last fundraising push to get us to Edinburgh, and any money you could spare would be so appreciated. As we say in the video, a donation as little as £5 would get us the reem of recycled paper we need for all the paper aeroplanes we make in the show; £50 would get us all the flyers we need to advertise our two week run; and £100 covers the cost of petrol to make sure us and all our set and props can get to Edinburgh and back. When we say every little bit helps us massively, we really do mean it!
