Israel Guide Dog Centre UK

RCN 1188449,

Help us transform lives one dog at a time! The Israel Guide Dog Centre is dedicated to transforming the lives of people with blindness and disabilities. For over 30 years we have been training guide dogs for blind people, service dogs for IDF veterans suffering from PTSD and emotional support dogs for children with autism. We operate the only internationally accredited guide dog programme in the country and are members of the International Guide Dog Federation. We provide our guide dogs free of charge to our clients. We are a small charity making a huge difference, but this is only possible because of the support we receive from you.

A person-dog partnership is life-changing. It provides our blind or disabled clients with mobility, independence, self-confidence and companionship. It gives them the support they need to go to university, find a job, confront emotional issues and regain their personal and social identity. It helps children with autism improve their social interactions and relationships, expand their communication and learn life skills.

It literally transforms lives.

We currently have a waiting list of people – adults and children with a variety of acute needs – who are waiting for a dog to change their lives.

Each one of our dogs is helping a child or a person in need to have a better quality of life and feel more independent and confident to face the world. It is only possible thanks to the generosity of our friends and supporters like you.
