Aim
We want to raise the deposits to run two candidates in Islington North and South for the #ClimateElection on 12th December.
Islington Greens want everyone in Islington to have the chance to vote Green. A vote to say yes to Europe and no to climate chaos. Elected Greens stand up for human rights, for fairness and for the systemic change we need to address the climate emergency and create a fair society.
We need to raise funds for two deposits - that's £1000 and to pay for leaflets. We have massive teams of volunteers to deliver them and can scale up delivery according to how much we raise.
It's inspiring seeing the massive surge of enthusiasm from the wider green movement in Islington to tackle the climate crisis. So many people in Islington are involved in fossil free, transition, cycling, walking, XR, school strikes and other local campaigns.
We don't have big corporate backers and rely on multiple small donations from people like you. So please chip in if you can.
