PC Consultants are an IT company based on the Isle of Wight, with a team of over 20 experienced, knowledgeable and friendly staff and now approaching 30 years in business.

Our comprehensive range of IT Solutions and Support Services are highly accredited and award winning; encompassing all aspects of Sales, Service and Support across IT Hardware, Software and Infrastructure.

We have several sides to our business including:

IT Consultancy Services, Cloud Services and Web Development plus a local workshop facility at our head office in Ryde.

It is our workshop side of the business which has been most affected by the current limits around both social distancing and general movement. And currently the entire workshop team is furloughed.

We are looking to raise money to help purchase our first Telepresense robot from doublerobotics.com - this will in the first instance be used in the workshop to help remote staff to safely meet and greet customers and provide instruction on leaving equipment for drop-off and fixing.

However by extension this project can be expanded to help other businesses in a variety of sectors to also use this technology to help their own business - for example helping team members who are isolating to still join in and feel part of the business.

For any business willing to put money towards this project we will offer a daily hire rate at a third of the normal price to thank you for your support. Our engineers will also be happy to offer any support required to help setup.

We firmly believe this is an excellent way both to support our staff in the workshop and also generate a new diverse future revenue stream for PC Consultants.
