Aim

We are seeking funds to complete, film and market a steampunk illusion show. Having already invested heavily, we need your help.

This project is a carefully disguised Illusion show set in the Victorian Era, demonstrating Science Fiction Gadgets that are supposed be the future... Steampunk is the Victorian Era with certain advancements including steam, clockwork and ray guns!! It is wonderful fun for all the family and whilst it is taking off in most areas from music to theatre, nobody has done a steampunk illusion show - until now! Recently heard that the new Cirque du Soleil show is steampunk themed so we want to stay ahead of the game whilst its still blossoming.

As you'll see in our video, we have designed some amazing gadgets already and are in the process of using the latest magical technologies to bring them to believable life. We are however short of making this dream a reality because of several of the actual props designed have run over budget because we want to make larger and better effects. Caspian has invested several thousand pounds already in getting research, development and deisgning these remarkable effect. Ironically we can't tell you too much about the exact effects as they are being kept tightly under wraps to avoid copyists!

The audience will think they are seeing a period travelling sales show and won't even know its magic! EVERYONE we have spoken to about this over the past two years of planning is massively excited and we hope you are too.

Effects include steam-powered flying machines, teleportation devices, the world's first Steamputer (which can read thoughts) and much more, all ineptly assisted by a life sized clockwork automaton called Cognita.

Myself and several members of the team have given their time for free to try and complete this within the budget we had, but we just simply cannot make it happen alone and to have come so close but not be able to finish or market it would be heartbreaking.

We are also inviting designers for poster and photo work to get involved and help design posters etc as well as web designers and anyone who has prop/set building experience knows steampunk and want to help build a set piece for the show! All help appreciated.

If everyone who reads this gives just a pound, we're bound to hit our target but please remember that unless we reach or exceed our target we get nothing at all! If we go over target then we can do even more and really push the boat out on using real brass and metals instead of paint effects and start building the extra effects we could not afford to include.
