Help Support the ordinary people involved with Insulate Britain's campaign of nonviolent civil resistance with legal defence costs.
In August 2021 Insulate Britain issued two demands to the UK Government in a letter stating if we did have a response we would start a sustained campaign of nonviolent civil resistance until they did.
Over a 9 week period 174 ordinary people returning to block road over 18 days of resistance that captured the attention of the British people, Government minsters and national press and bought the long over due topic of insulating Britains cold, damp and leaky homes high on the political agenda.
Most commentators said they agreed with Insulate Britain's demands but not with our actions. Some called for Insulate Britain supporters to go to government, write letters or even suggest they just wait to place their vote at the next General Election.
Sir David King, a former chief scientific advisor to the UK Government said last year 'What we do in the next 3-4 years will determine the future of humanity'.
Insulating Britains homes, starting with social housing by 2025, it s most cost effective, no brainer first step our government could take to reduce the UK's carbon emissions AND lift millions of families living in Britain out of fuel poverty. This is needed more than ever as the cost of living crisis rages on!

The money raised here will go towards Insulate Britain Supporter's Legal Defence costs, such as Solicitors or Barristers fees as well transport to court and accommodation.
