We're still collecting donations
On the 7th April 2022 we'd raised £540 with 8 supporters in 69 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Richard Lewis (Dic Penderyn) was a Welsh miner, wrongly hanged on August the 13th, 1831 for his part in the Merthyr Rising. As he stood on the gallows in St Mary's street, Cardiff on that fateful day, he uttered his last words;
"O Arglwydd dyma gamwedd" . . . "Oh Lord, here is Iniquity"
Iniquity (Camwedd) is a brand new stage play, written to honour the life & times of Dic Penderyn. The play was premiered in Wales in July of last year, but the goal now is to take Iniquity (Camwedd) to the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We want to perform the story of Wales' first Working Class Martyr on the World Arts Stage!
To commemorate the 190th anniversary of the Worker's Rising and Penderyn's execution, we will take with us a petition, to each performance of Iniquity (Camwedd). The petition is for Parliament to bestow a posthumous pardon on the name of Richard Lewis (Dic Penderyn).
The funds raised with this crowdfunder campaign will help pay the travel, accommodation and production costs of taking Our Play to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2022.
