Aim
Transform the 44 Club into an affordable, year-round indoor golf simulator and multi-use community space for sport, events, & learning.
Who are we?
The Home Guard Club is a long-established, not-for-profit members’ club at the heart of the Sheen community. We exist to bring people together — families, friends, sports fans, juniors, and adults alike — through shared spaces, great facilities, and a genuine sense of belonging.
In 2022 we built The 44 Club, a modern, flexible room on our grounds designed to host smaller, more intimate gatherings. While it hasn’t yet reached its full potential, it has already proven itself as a fantastic space for private parties, screenings, and member-led events.
Now, we’re ready to take it to the next level.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We’re crowdfunding to transform The 44 Club into a state-of-the-art indoor golf simulator room, featuring a TrackMan Indoor Golf Simulator, in partnership with GolfRooms London.
TrackMan sits at the very top of the golf simulator market and is trusted by Tour professionals, coaches, and club fitters worldwide. By bringing this technology into our club, we can offer members and their guests access to an elite golfing experience at a fraction of the cost of commercial venues in the area.
Crowdfunding allows us to:
- Do the build properly, without compromise
- Keep usage costs low for members long-term
- Ensure the room remains multi-purpose and community-focused
Every penny raised will go directly into developing the room.
How we’ll spend the money raised
We believe transparency matters. Funds raised will be used to deliver a complete, high-quality installation, including:
- Core simulator installation
- Blacked-out walls and ceiling for optimal performance and soundproofing
- Comfortable seating and social layout
- AV setup to support sports screenings, presentations, and events
Stretch targets (if we exceed our goal)
- Premium adult & junior golf clubs (right- and left-handed)
- Additional games modes and putting features
- Enhanced furnishings and social touches to elevate the space further
Every fundraising tier includes significant discounts on annual access and booking fees, meaning supporters will receive far more value than they put in.
Community impact
This isn’t just a golf simulator — it’s a community asset.
The upgraded 44 Club will remain a flexible, inclusive space that can be used for:
- Golf practice, coaching, and social play
- Premier League, rugby, and major sporting events on the biggest screen in Sheen
- Smaller private parties and celebrations
