Aim

We are hoping to raise money in Chris’ memory to support local sport focused mental health projects.

Chris was due to run the Nottingham Robin Hood Half Marathon on 27th September 2026 alongside his brothers-in-law Adam and Rob. Following our devastating loss of Chris, Adam and Rob want to complete the run for Chris, and a group family and friends have all signed up too.

Runners: Adam (brother-in-law), Rob (brother-in-law), Rebecca (sister), Emma (sister-in-law), Natalie (sister-in-law), Luke (cousin/Edwalton teammate), Max (friend), Andy (friend), Ash (friend), Ryan (friend), Harnik (friend) and Matt (friend/Edwalton teammate).

We’re hoping to add to the incredible amount already raised in Chris’ memory to continue to go to the Nottingham Forest Community Trust charity. At the family’s request, the Trust have kindly agreed to direct all funds raised in Chris’ memory to their mental health and wellbeing programme, Tricky to Talk.

Further information about the programme can be found on the below link:
