About the project
The Imps started 42 years ago. Roy Pratt MBE started a group called the Hackney Adventure Project, which aimed to take disadvantaged children from East London on adventure holidays at weekends and during school holidays. The children found a motorcycle and Roy tasked them with getting it to work. The Imps was then born and the project became a motorcycle display team.
42 years on and the Imps has played a vital role in thousands of children’s lives. The Imps unfortunately recently lost their life long sponsor, Honda UK. The Imps now need your help.
We aim to raise enough funds to purchase a fleet of new motorcycles. With your help we can go on for three more years while our Volunteers work hard to find us a new sponsor. Be part of the team that will ensure that the Imps is here for another 42 and please donate today.
