Improving the facilities at The Bypass

Aim
We are looking to upgrade our current facilities in order to progress into a higher level of football.
Who are we?
We are Radnor Valley FC otherwise known as The Goats. We formed in 1921 and are still going 102 years later! We are currently playing at Tier 4 in the Central Wales League South.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding because we need to improve our off field facilities in order to gain promotion into Tier 3. 3 years ago we were asked to vacate our old ground due to our old landlord not wanting us to improve and extend the facilities to gain this promotion. We were kindly offered our existing ground by the Phillips family and are now allowed to progress and do the changes that are needed. We are Crowdfunding to install the first 50 seated stand which is required by the FAW. This will also massively benefit our more senior supporters as it will give them more comfort being able to sit down and watch a game!
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. If you want to run your own fundraiser to support us, maybe a sponsored activity or similar, use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
How we’ll spend the money raised
We will spend the money on purchasing seats and employing a local contractor to make the frame and roof!
Community impact
Once we have got the off field facilities improved we can offer the ground to other local organisations that may need a large outdoor space and be able to provide shelter in the stand and also hygienic facilities once the changing rooms have been converted.
