31st explorer scouts aim is to build 10 metres of raised flower beds and clear an overgrown path to the allotments to enable easier access.
I’m the leader with the 31st Plymouth Explorer scouts and we are taking on a community challenge!
We have been asked to build 11 metres of raised flower beds in the community allotments. This could potentially help people with mobility issues and the elderly to get involved with amazing work done at the allotments.
As well as the raised beds we would like to help improve access to the site by clearing an overgrown path and lay a path similar to the one on the headland path.
We will be starting ASAP and are attempting to secure funding to help with materials etc.
If anyone is able to donate anything at all that can help us achieve this it would be massively appreciated by us and the Ernesettle community.
monies raised will be used to purchase materials to complete this challenge.
