Aim: Develop, print, and distribute a book of fairytales, stories, research, ideas, and tools to help people better manage their imagination.
Better manage your imagination, your very own personal factory of the future, beauty and anxiety.
The imagination is a gift we have all been given that allows us to be active and wise participants in creating our personal and communal futures. In this non-fiction book, infused with fairytales, I explore stories, ideas and tools that might help us all to better manage our imagination, our imaginactories. Help us mitigate anxious imaginings and empower useful, beautiful and creative ones.
The best way to explore the research and journey behind Imaginactory is through the 19-part research podcast I produced, The Imagining. You can watch or listen to it here.

The money raised through this Crowdfunder will help with three key areas:
1. The first print run
It will fund the initial bulk order of printed editions of Imaginactory. I hope that this book will feel truly special to hold, own, and gift to anyone who might benefit from the wisdom inside.
2. Completing the illustrations
I’m working with an amazing artist, Aleksandra Zapotoczna. We’ve begun producing a set of original illustrations for the book, but there are still several left to complete.
3. Sharing the work more widely
This funding will also allow me to invest more time into writing about, speaking about (via podcast), and distributing the stories, ideas, art, and wisdom behind Imaginactory.
