About Identity Creative Consultants

Created during a global pandemic in a small town in Lancashire, Identity was inspired by working with small businesses who often don’t have the resources to market their business. These SMEs are exciting companies, who have fabulous products and great ideas but limited funds to grow. There's a huge satisfaction from supporting these entrepreneurs and start-ups on their journey.

Why now?

2020 has hit businesses hard and like many others I was made redundant.  Not a time to be disheartened but a time to adjust and find new focus.  Then came the lightbulb moment (hence the logo)!

I'm Sarah; proud mum, business owner and optimist!  I have over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing in retail, wholesale, hospitality, services and manufacturing across food, domestic appliances, engineering, telecoms and clothing.  From content creation for industry leading brands to press releases for product launches, I have a wealth of knowledge and realised I could provide my insights to help grow other businesses.

Using all my past experiences and doing what I never thought possible, I decided to live the dream and go for it with my own business.  I've worked with many small companies along the way and know how much hard work and effort goes into making a success of an idea.  I am really passionate about what I do and have so much to offer to these SMEs so I brought all my thoughts together and on 1st August 2020, Identity Creative Consultants was born!

Not another Marketing Agency?

Not at all!  I want to do things differently.  Costs to clients are kept to a minimum due to low overheads, environmentally friendly ways of working and a targeted approach.  Every project is tailored to the business I am working with and is totally bespoke.  From one off pieces of content to long term social media projects, I have found that the flexibility is well received by business owners.

I've met some great people along my journey to becoming a single 'mumpreneur' and am pleased to be able work in partnership with other freelancers to deliver website builds, detailed graphics or even print solutions.  This means many people are benefiting from the low-cost services Identity can provide.  I hope to build on this in the future and be able to offer longer term work to the creative people around me.

I've worked with lots of sectors, written for local and national companies and have experienced some wonderful times on my adventures to this point.  You can read more on the Identity website.

Why Crowdfunding?

To achieve my dream and help as many small businesses as possible is the simple answer!  I have no financial backing, but big hopes, lots of ideas and clients already starting to use my services (and sending testimonials) which is the most incredible feeling!

The funds will allow me to fully set up the business with items that are crucial for delivering the best service to the SMEs.  I would like to purchase essential software to deliver and manage the social media and content aspects as a priority.  At the moment I have a laptop and a mouse so would like some basic equipment such as a printer to run the business.  Also to drive the long term success of the company I need to fund the marketing of Identity itself through traditional and digital methods.  Most of this can be done in house but paid advertising is an additional cost and the pledges will allow me to create targeted activity to really make Identity stand out to the SMEs.            

Identity Creative Consultants has been accepted onto the NatWest Back Her Business program, which means that you can receive amazing rewards while supporting a small business and NatWest will match fund, allowing my vision to become a reality.

How will it help Identity?

Your Crowdfunder UK campaign pledge will help Identity to reach out to more businesses, actively network and support as many SMEs as possible. Offering my expertise to small companies and start-ups is at the heart of what I do and with your help I can make that happen now and in the future.

In return for your generous pledge, I'll be investing my time in the content, social media and marketing that the businesses need to make their way into the competitive worlds in which they exist.  Armed with the right support I can help them thrive and make their online and offline presence a success.

All the work I do for clients is completely bespoke and that personal touch is so important to me.  That's why all the rewards I am offering for the pledges are personal too.  My ideas have come when I have felt relaxed and inspired so going back to that pen and paper, there is a writing set for you to create your own moments, or even a spa day for the much needed relaxation we all crave at the moment. 

From a business perspective, I'll also be offering my time to create some content for your company.  

If you don't own a business, I invite you to gift the reward to an organisation close to me.  I work with Great Harwood and Rishton Rotary Club and would love to be able to do more for them and they would benefit from some additional input to their endeavours.

Reward Ts & Cs

The quantity of each reward is as specified in the campaign and no alternatives are available.  Featured business rewards will be scheduled in an agreed month, and subject to the number of rewards claimed, this could be any time within 2020-2021.  Time rewards do not include additional costs such as, but not limited to, print, image purchase or social media ads.  The work will be carried out within an agreed period in 2020 and can not be extended beyond this.  The branded writing set and relaxation kit will be posted recorded delivery to the name of the person making the pledge.  The Spa Day will be in the form of a voucher with specific terms and conditions as specified by the provider over which Identity Creative Consultants have no control.  Identity Creative Consultants has the sole discretion to change or modify these terms and conditions which will be effective immediately from the time of posting to this webpage.
