Develop further CAMDEAG's complementary currency system leading to an open source software trading system that can be used by any community around the world. Community trading enabled by a complimentary currency allows access to things that members need and may not be able to afford (food, child care, social check-ins, skill sharing, transport), and also creates a sense of belonging and social cohesion.
Images are crucial to give life to an idea. After a virtual workshop series run by CamDEAG, where Cambridge residents and Doughnut enthusiasts around the world brainstorm images representing the social and environmental of a safe and just society, we would like to commission a local artist to create a copyright-free set of icons that can be used by anyone around the world to represent each of these dimensions.
