Aim

Order meaningful jewellery from I Am Adored new range, every purchase of jewellery will support an unemployed woman onto a jewellery course.

Affirmational jewellery designed to remind you of your worth

We're using crowdfunder with two goals in mind. Firstly, we want to launch our debut collection of bracelets necklaces, and earrings, giving you the opportunity to be one of the first to pre-order our exclusive "I AM"  collection. Secondly, and most importantly we want to raise money to support at least 4 unemployed women into jewellery making classes at an established jewellery school in London.

According to a statistic from the International Labour Organisation, women make up to 49.6% of the workforce; we know all to well the negative impact that unemployment can have on our self esteem and confidence.

This is where we step in, we want to play our part in helping to increase that number by providing women with this opportunity, where they will learn the skill of jewellery creation and basic business skills, which will equip them to be more employable for the future.

Below is a testimonial from a young lady who has been positively impacted by the workshops of She Is You, the sister organisation to I Am Adored, which 10% of proceeds will go to.

With the right tools and support we believe that we will be an unstoppable brand, creating social change. By the end of this campaign we'd like to have our debut collection live on our online store. If we are able to hit our minimum target of £6,000 this will be possible and our goal is that by the end of the year (2018) we would have supported at least 4 unemployed women to learn the basic skills of jewellery creation, helping to build on their confidence and skill set. They will also have the opportunity to sell their creations on the 'I Am Adored' online store if they so choose to.

The women will be taught the skill of jewellery creation, at the London Jewellery Workshopa fully equipped jewellery workshop in the heart of Shoreditch London.

There they will be taught by owner, Nina Gilbey who has been practicing jewellery making and silversmithing since 1993 and teaching the subject since 2000.

I Am Adored is built on 5 important values which embody the work that we do and the jewellery we provide.

We build a tribe of people who openly share their stories and journey of how they embody these values, so that we can all learn and grow together. If you have a story to share or would like to join our movement, send your stories to [email protected] and you can check out some existing members of our tribe here.

Our 'I AM' collection is the first range that comes from I Am Adored. We believe the words we speak over ourselves are key to building on our esteem and self belief.  We know that affirmations are a personal statement, but we believe they are the most effective and powerful when in the first person, "I AM..." For example "I AM Amazing." We are using this concept and placing them on jewellery, so that whenever you look at your wrist (bangles)  or chest (necklace) you will be reminded over and over of your worth and value.

You can customise a message of your choice to be engraved on our exclusive I Am necklace,  select the perfect colour for you or someone you love choose from (rose gold, gold or sliver) and have your own personal message or affirmation engraved on it.

All jewellery from our 'I AM' collection is created at a jewellery workshop in the United Kingdom.

Packaging is very important to us. Every purchase of jewellery will come individually packaged in a beautifully designed I Am Adored Jewellery box along with an affirmational card.

Caroline is the owner and creator of 'I am Adored.' She created this project  with the goal of helping women learn their worth and value through the unconventional use of jewellery.  Caroline has worked with women and young people for over five years and understands first hand some of the challenges and frustrations we face on our personal development journey. As a jewellery lover herself she has spent time researching some key trends in fashion and accessories and has had the privilege to speak to some of the leaders in buying and merchandise; experienced men and women who have created and sourced jewellery for the likes of Asos, Claire's, Oliver Bonas and more - some of which have been advisors for 'I Am Adored's' new collection.  Caroline has been a strong advocate and leader for social change within her community, passionate about enabling the next generation to live out their full potential. This has seen her receive a number of awards and accolades (some listed below),  one of which was from the Prime Minister in 2014 - A 'Point of Light Award.'
