Helping young people who’ve been left behind by mainstream education find confidence, purpose and somewhere they belong.
Every young person deserves to feel safe, understood and given the chance to succeed.
Unfortunately, that isn’t the reality for thousands of young people today. Too many have become disengaged from mainstream education, not because they don’t have potential, but because they’ve experienced trauma, learn differently or have simply never felt like they belonged within the traditional education system.
As the three founders of I AM ME Collective, we’ve spent years working directly with young people across our community. It began by meeting young people where they were, building trust through outreach, listening without judgement and creating safe spaces where they could express themselves through creativity.
As our work grew, we saw the same pattern over and over again. More young people were falling through the cracks, more families were struggling to find the right support, and more professionals were asking the same question:
“Where can these young people go?”
That question became the beginning of something much bigger.
We realised what was missing wasn’t another youth project. It was an environment where creativity could become the bridge back into education, confidence and opportunity.
That’s why we created I AM ME Creative Arts School.
The first Creative Arts School on the Wirral has been built for young people who have become disengaged from mainstream education. Through music, dance, podcasting, media, mentoring and holistic wraparound support, we’re creating a place where young people can rebuild confidence, discover their strengths and begin believing in themselves again.
Everything we do is completely free because we never want money to decide whether a young person gets access to the support they deserve.
That’s why we’re asking for your help.
Your donation isn’t simply helping us buy equipment.
It’s helping create a place where a young person who feels they’ve been left behind can find hope, belonging and a future they never thought was possible.
Every microphone, every camera, every dance studio mirror and every creative space exists for one reason…
To give a young person the chance to believe in themselves again.
