Aim
The hydraulic shower/changing trolley at The Wheelabout is in desperate need of replacement.
At the Harriet Davis Trust, we believe that every family deserves the chance to enjoy a proper holiday, regardless of disability or additional needs. For over 30 years, our charity has provided fully accessible, self-catering holiday properties to children and adults with complex disabilities and life-limiting conditions.
One of our much-loved properties, The Wheelabout, is a lifeline for many families. It offers a safe, welcoming space for those who often face enormous barriers when trying to get away. A key feature of The Wheelabout is its on-site therapy pool, a vital resource that brings relaxation, relief from pain, and joyful moments of freedom in the water for so many of our guests.
Sadly, the hydraulic shower/changing trolley in the pool area is now in desperate need of replacement. After years of use, it is no longer reliable or safe, and we urgently need to replace it to continue offering safe, dignified changing facilities for our guests.
This is where we need your help. By supporting this fundraiser, you’ll be helping to fund a new, fully compliant hydraulic changing table, ensuring the therapy pool remains a safe, inclusive space for everyone who stays at The Wheelabout.
