Cruel arsonists torched the sheds of Hunningley Field allotment holders, burning their hens and pigeons alive. Two retired allotmenters lost much more than just their beloved birds - they lost their faith in people to do the right thing. Let's restore it.
I am trying to raise just £1,500, which will help them buy new sheds and birds so they can once again enjoy their summer.
“I’ve never been as devastated in my life,” said John Holmes, who was left in tears. “This is my holiday.”
