Raising money to buy a car and deliver it along with humanitarian aid to Ukranian volunteer workers.
A medic in Ukraine can only save lives if they can reach them.
Sometimes, the difference between reaching someone in time and arriving too late is a reliable vehicle.
Earlier this year, I planned to make just a couple of volunteer trips to Ukraine with the incredible charity Drive 2 Save Lives.
I never expected it to become something I cared about so deeply.
Since March, I've travelled across Ukraine delivering 4x4 vehicles, medical equipment, wheelchairs, food, bedding and other essential supplies to Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipro.
What I saw changed me.
I met ordinary people doing extraordinary things — volunteers, medics and humanitarian workers who continue to put themselves in difficult and dangerous situations to help others.
On one of my recent trips to Kharkiv, I handed over a 4x4 to a frontline medic.
That vehicle would soon be driving into places where ambulances cannot safely go— helping evacuate injured people and civilians from dangerous areas.
In that moment, I realised something important:
We weren't just delivering vehicles.
We were delivering hope, speed and the chance for someone to make it home alive.
And this is why I am continuing.
The need is still enormous.
Every week there are requests we cannot fulfil because of funding issues.
I am ready for my next journey to Ukraine. What I need now is your help to make it happen.
Your donation will have a direct and visible impact.
It can become:
A vehicle that helps a medic reach someone in need.
Fuel that keeps an evacuation team moving.
Medical supplies delivered directly to people who need them.
Essential support reaching communities affected by war.
I know many people experience donation fatigue. There are many worthy causes in the world today. This is a big one.
If you choose to support this mission, I'll make sure you can see the impact of your generosity and see the difference you are making.
During every trip I'll share daily updates, photos and videos in a private WhatsApp group, so you'll know exactly where your contribution is going and the people it is helping.
For those who would like to be more involved, some of our biggest supporters will have the opportunity to help shape priorities for the next mission — including choosing vehicles or humanitarian supplies where possible.
Every pound will have a purpose.
Ukraine's defenders and volunteers continue to do extraordinary things every single day.
The question is whether the rest of us are willing to stand alongside them.
Whether your gift is £10 or £1,000, you'll be helping turn compassion into action.
Years from now, when people ask what we did while Ukraine fought for its freedom, I hope you'll be able to say:
"I helped."
If this message resonates with you, I would be incredibly grateful for your support — or simply for sharing this post so it reaches someone who can help.
Thank you.
