Hub Steer Cargo Bike by CargoN e-Velo

Aim

We have prototyped this 26inch Cargo Bike with Intra-Drive Motor, Hub Steering and Split frame. We want to expand the 20inch wheel range.

We have prototyped the 26" wheel version to test the Hub steering, however 20" wheels are where the full Cargo Bike advantages happen.  Refer to our website CargoN e-Velo for the details and pictures of the full range and options.  CargoN e-Velo have developed a front load e-Cargo Bike, which resolves some specific issues that affect the uptake of Cargo Bikes in the UK.  3 innovations  with "Hub Steering" and "Split" frame structure that separates for storage and transportation.  

Front Load Cargo Bikes are better than Rear Load Cargo Bikes:

• They are safer, allowing for a lower, more stable load that the rider can see.
• As kids grow the rear loaders are less useful at carrying long and heavy loads.
• Large dogs are impossible to carry on a rear loader.

Key Cargo Bike Features of our Front Loader:

• Hub Steering allows CargoN to shorted the wheelbase and give a more precise steering with no wobble.
• Cargo Bike Storage - Split Frame to separate for transport and storage.
• 20" version (900mm) fits in the back of a Mini sideways.
• Designed and manufactured from T45 laser cut steel in the UK.
• The CargoN hub steering is manufactured in the UK
• One GD8 mount format, two drive options; Intra-Drive & Shimano Steps
