Help Ensemble pour Grandir and SPS build a new water system for the women & children living at the Ensemble pour Grandir's centre in Ouidah

English Version - New Gravity-fed Water System for Ensemble pour Grandir

Ensemble pour Grandir and Solidarietà, Pace e Sviluppo (SPS) are collaborating to improve the lives and conditions of the women and children living in the foster home in Ouidah, Benin, by funding and building a new Gravity-fed Water System that would deliver clean and reliable water to showers and sinks in the centre.

Project Manager for the new water system Erika Rigamonti, and SPS' referent Melinda Forcellati are supervising the construction and will be flying to Benin in December. The diggings have taken place in March and the construction is to begin by the end of June. The local referent in Benin is Justine (pi below with Erika) and she's been the head of the centre and has collaborated with Erika since 2009.

Every penny raised is going to the purchase of the material needed for the construction of the water system.

Ensemble pour Grandir and Solidarietà, Pace e Sviluppo (SPS) collaborano per migliorare le condizioni igienico-sanitarie delle donne e bambini che vivono al centro d'accoglienza di Oudah, in Benin attraverso il finanziamento e la costruzione di un 'castello d'acqua' (sistema di trasporto d'acqua) connesso alle docce, cucine e lavandini del centro.

Erika Rigamonti, capoprogetto del 'castello' e Melinda Forcellati, referente di SPS, sono incaricate della costruzione e andranno al centro a dicembre per sovrintendere la fine dei lavori. 

Gli scavi sono cominciati a marzo e la costruzione vera e propria comincerà verso la fine di giugno. 

Ogni euro raccolto verrà speso per acquistare il materiale necessario alla costruzione del sistema.
