THE BUS Rucksack Event 2017

Aim

To refurbish a double decker bus into a shelter for the homeless of Portsmouth, once completed will be donated to charity.

After 4 successfull Rucksack Events in Portsmouth, with over 10,000 rucksacks donated to local charites, to help the homeless, we decided to move up a level and start a new project, THE BUS !

We have been donated a double decker bus, which we would like to convert into extra beds for the homeless of Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. Upstairs will have sleeping pods, and downstairs will have a seating area, small kitchen, loo and a shower.

We have onboard, a local company, Richs, who have pledged their support for this great project, they have the same caring values as the rest of us, and their help will be invaluable to THE BUS !

Once the bus is complete, it will be then donated to a local charity in our town.

Your donations will buy materials to convert the bus, I am hoping that once the materials are sourced, tradesmen will then come forward to volunteer a few hours of their time to refit THE BUS!
