Aim
The aim is to have the first high quality sustainable wood fired sauna permanently on Folkestone’s fine beach.
Hi. I’m Tim. I’m an artist, musician and tattooist in Folkestone and I enjoy doodling and tattooing in my studio, BRB tattoo and also in studios across the world.
After chatting to a fine gent called George Cory (sauna enthusiast) we soon agreed Folkestone definitely needed a beach front sauna for all to use, especially when the growing culture of sea swimming and sauna go hand in hand.
Being a keen yoga fan and climber I started looking into the holistic benefits of sauna and soon had another conversation with a fab chap called Lewis (cedar sauna company) and a plan was born to build a high quality, high spec mobile sauna. A beautiful place to relax and recharge with a capacity of 6/7 people and regular daily availability.

Although the final stages are now with Folkestone council we would hope to be situated along the beach in one of the key areas in Folkestone.
The plan is underway but with help from this crowdfunder we can finalise a top end finish and fantastic sauna experience for all.
