We aim to provide warmth and food for people from our diverse community who are struggling with everyday costs and the effects of loneliness
Hove Methodist Church is a place where all are welcome and we work with our community to make this happen. We host groups for low income families, older people, LGBTQ+ people, addiction problems and provide affordable space for other groups and charities seeking to improve the lives of people in our community.

Our warm spaces project is for anyone from our local community. Especially people who are struggling with the cost of living crisis or are also lonely and want a friendly face to chat with over a cup of tea.

Our heating bill has increased by 4 times as much as we were paying last year. We know so many people also facing difficult decisions about how to prioritise their spending. We want to create a warm and friendly place for everyone.
The money we will raise will be used to open more of our building as a warm space to more people on more days of the week. This will support our work with lunch clubs, our Chomp Club for low income families, our Chatty Cafe, providing hot food, tea and coffee for the local community and of course a warm place to be.
