Fundraising to help Hove Learning Federation with lack of funding. Help our school continue to thrive! Give what you can today.

Hove Learning Federation*, like many schools, is currently facing significant financial challenges including staff costs not being fully funded by the Department for Education. This, alongside rising staffing and energy costs means the school is facing a challenging financial situation and continues to have to make tough choices about how its resources are spent. 

Now that Hove Learning Federation has no future plans to become an academy, and are not receiving financial support from Aurora Academies Trust, the school is moving into a new phase and a positive new relationship with the Local Authority. In this new phase there is opportunity for parents, carers and community members to support Hove Learning Federation to thrive. 

One vital way to support is by giving direct donations to help our two schools continue to offer the best education they can for our children. If you would like to make a donation, please do so using this crowdfund link***.  You can give a one off donation or set up monthly payments. Here’s some examples of what your donations could do: 

• 50 people giving £10 per month could restock classroom libraries and buy books for important phonics reading
• 25 people giving £10 per month could provide a new Saplings and Outdoor Learning budget of £3,000 for EYFS
• 40 people giving £25 per month could fund a Reading Assistant for five afternoons a week, for a year
• Any amount you can give, either one off or monthly, will be of vital support to the school.  

Other ways to support is by donating your time and skills to school -  more details can be found on the Parent and Carer Working Group website and by coming to key school events run by PTAs. 

Note: This fundraiser has been set up by the Parent Carer Working Group with approval from Hove Learning Federation school leadership. The funds will be released from the crowdfunder directly to the school bank account on a monthly basis.
