We want to raise money to take two major theatre projects in 2015 on tour.

2015 is an exciting time for House of Orphans. We have the show, 'One Hand Clapping' which has been selected for the prestigious Brits off Broadway in May 2015 and the production, 'Cuckoo' supported by The Lowry in March and October.
Both shows are a development for the company which is growing both a national and international reputation.
Based in Manchester, UK House of Orphans brings innovative, high quality theatrical productions to the stage and has toured to venues such as Bolton Octagon, The Lowry, the Martin Harris Centre and The Cockpit in London. We have also put shows on in site-specific places such as The Eagle in Salford.
We need your help to reach our goals to bring the projects to life. The money will pay for the professionals involved and help pay for costume, props and travel/accomodation for the company. We are looking to the Arts Council for other sources of funding and have a small amount of private investment but, simply put, these projects cannot happen without your help.
Here are some of the approx costs for taking 'One Hand Clapping' to New York, May 2015
At a glance;
3 x actors = £4596
1 x technician = £1532
Shipping set = £2000
Director = £500
Flights = £3000
Accommodation = £8000
Here are some of the approx costs for 'Cuckoo' at a glance;
5 x actors = £7660
1 x MD = £ 2000
1 x director = £1532
1 x choreographer = £1532
As you can see, the budgets add up cost-wise but we have a proven track record of working to budgets to create stylish, accessible and innovative theatre.
