Horse of Hope brings the healing power of horses to people with disabilities. Help us expand our reach by adding a new horse to the team!

Who are we?

At Nantwich & District Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), we believe in the life-changing power of horses. For children and adults with disabilities, our horses are more than companions—they are healers, teachers, and friends. Through therapeutic riding, we offer individuals the chance to experience freedom, joy, and confidence that many never thought possible. Our dedicated team of volunteers and gentle, specially trained horses work together to create a safe and welcoming space where riders can thrive. Each session is designed not only to improve physical strength but also to nurture emotional well-being and foster deep connections. We are a community of hope, healing, and empowerment.

I've loved horses since I was 2yrs old and ridden since I was 5yrs. In 2020, at just 11 years old, a fall left me with spinal cord damage and paraplegia. In the hospital, days after my accident, I promised myself I’d ride again. That’s when I found the RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association).
They started me on their mechanical horse, and just 10 months after my accident, they got me back on a real horse. I was overjoyed. By 2022, I had my own pony again, and with RDA’s unwavering support, I’ve competed in Dressage, even placing 4th at the 2024 Regional Finals.
