Help raise the bar for Horror Con Scotland 27 - an independent horror event built by one person and kept alive by the people who support it
One person.
A love for horror.
And a decision to risk everything on an idea someone once said was the worst they’d ever heard.
There was no big company behind it.
No funding.
No safety net.
Just building something… and hoping people would show up.
They did.
And now it’s grown into Scotland’s largest dedicated horror event.
WHAT PEOPLE DON’T SEE
From a room above a pub in Aberdeen to where it is now - Horror Con Scotland is still run by one person.
Everything - planning, marketing, logistics, website updates and more - is handled behind the scenes as a full-time job, on top of another job.
So far, everything has been reinvested back into the event to make each year bigger.
But it’s now growing at a pace where ticket sales alone won’t be enough to take it to the next level.
Horror Con Scotland 2027: UNDEAD
If you want a bigger, world-class Undead experience in Scotland…
it starts now.
Not in 2027.
Now.
WHAT WE’RE BUILDING FOR 2027
2027 isn’t about doing more of the same.
It’s about raising the bar - properly.
Moving beyond a standard convention…
into something you step into.
Your support will help us:
Because this has outgrown what one person can build alone.
SUPPORTING SCOTTISH HORROR CREATORS
Horror Con Scotland has always been about more than just the event.
It’s about creating space for Scottish creators.
The Assembly Area exists to showcase filmmakers, artists, SFX creators, and independent talent - giving them a platform to share their work, connect with audiences, and be part of something bigger.
It’s one of the most important parts of the event.
But it’s also one of the hardest to grow.
Unlike some other areas, this one doesn't generate profit - it exists to support the community. And as the event grows, so does the need to invest in it properly.
Your support helps us:
Because this isn’t just about building an event.
It’s about building a platform for the people behind it.
WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES
No corporate funding.
No shareholders.
No big company behind it.
Every contribution goes directly into building the event:
Every bit of support builds 2027.
WHY BACK THIS?
Horror Con Scotland exists because people chose to support it.
It started above a pub in Aberdeen.
It grew because people backed it.
And if it’s going to become something bigger - something world-class - it happens the same way.
FINAL HOOK
It started above a pub in Aberdeen.
It exists because you show up.
Now help build what it becomes next.
