Aim
We need your help to create something truly special: a rooftop café overlooking the sea. This will be more than just coffee with a view.
At Hornsea Inshore Rescue, we are proud to be an independent, volunteer-run lifeboat charity serving our coastline with courage, commitment, and compassion. Every call-out we answer, every life we help save, is made possible thanks to the generosity and support of people like you.
Now, we need your help more than ever.
We’re launching our Rooftop Terrace Appeal to raise £400,000 to fund a much-needed new addition to our lifeboat station — a purpose-built rooftop café and viewing terrace with the state of the art staircase and lift so its accessible to all. This new space will not only help us raise vital ongoing funds through community hospitality and events, but will also provide a welcoming place for visitors, school groups, and supporters to learn more about the lifesaving work we do every day.
This isn’t just about bricks and mortar. It’s about building a sustainable future for Hornsea Inshore Rescue — and creating a space that brings our community together, right at the heart of the station.
