Horizon Film Festival

Aim
To showcase and develop local filmmaker talent through low barriers to entry.
Running a film festival is not cheap. Venue hire, awards, and printed programmes all cost money, and for the past four years we've covered much of that ourselves.
To make HFF27 happen, we need your support.
In 2026, 140 people came through the doors, 18 films screened, and 10 awards were handed out. We want to keep building on that, but we can't do it without external funding.
If you've attended before, you'll know what the festival offers: a genuine space for emerging filmmakers to show their work and meet people in the industry. That doesn't happen without a budget.
