Inspired by Yvonne, our Hope Programme participant, help us bring hope to people with long-term conditions with "Hope Programme for all".
This crowdfunder is inspired by Yvonne, one of our Hope Programme participants.
Yvonne told us: “I was diagnosed with Long Covid earlier this year and through my Long Covid clinic heard about the Hope Programme. I found the course very useful and helpful for my physical and mental wellbeing. On 19th November 2023, I am challenging myself to undertake a countryside walk of 3.5 miles (I used to run 1.5 miles every day) and would like to raise money to donate to yourselves to support your work either in the Long Covid sector or any other area that you offer your wonderful support”.
We were touched by Yvonne’s kindness and are rooting for her!
Most of us have first-hand experience with long-term conditions like cancer, diabetes, Long Covid or other health challenges. We've either walked this path ourselves or watched loved ones do so. It can make us feel alone and without hope.
At Hope For The Community CIC, our vision is for everyone to have the tools to lead a hopeful and flourishing life. But sometimes funding restrictions limit to whom and where we run our courses.
By supporting the "Hope Programme for all" you're making a big difference in the lives of those we care about.
Your donation will help us run online Hope Programme courses for anyone who needs them, regardless of location, condition or background. Giving people a chance to feel empowered with new skills and knowledge, meet others in similar situations and fostering hope, resilience, and mental wellbeing.
Donate now and help us change lives. Thank you!
Courses that are currently not available for all and maybe run depending on the final amount raised are Hope Programme for people living with Long Covid, any long-term condition, Hope Programme for unpaid Carers or Parents of children with cancer.
