To fund essential work on The Hope Mill Theatre Community Hub, creating an accessible and welcoming space for all.

On the 7th April 2021 we'd raised £2,130 with 37 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Just a stone's throw from the award-winning Hope Mill Theatre, we are creating an accessible and welcoming space for our community to engage with the arts and to be the home of the new Hope Mill Theatre School!
Essential building work must take place before we can open our doors and continue our community engagement which has become a huge part of our theatre's activities as a newly registered charity.
The main space will be transformed into a beautiful studio, ready to be used for our Play Reading Clubs, fringe style performances, a Community Choir and be an affordable space for hire for rehearsals and more. Breakout rooms will become smaller workshop spaces and offices, and the kitchen and bathroom areas will be made accessible and fit for purpose!
We strive to increase engagement in the arts across all of our charitable activities. Through the launch of Hope Mill Theatre School, and offering 50% of places for free, we hope to continue to build long lasting, trusting relationships with members of our community who ordinarily wouldn't feel that the arts are accessible to them.
